I am always on the lookout for a good way to use my fabric scraps, so when I found this 8-minute quilt block idea by My Sewing Room, on YouTube, I was super excited to try a few of these. My Sewing Room’s method of making these blocks is so cool, she does them in a very easy sewing pattern where she sews the strips as she goes. I love making her scrappy blocks. The greatest thing about these videos is the fact that at the end of each block tutorial, she shows you all the different ways the patterns can fit together. That may not seem like a big deal, but believe me, they can look so different! Most online quilters do their block patterns and then give you just one representation of how the blocks will fit together.
