Crockpot Pulled Chicken Recipe





When I found this crockpot pulled chicken recipe by Soul Food Cooking, on YouTube, I was very thrilled to make this delicious-sounding dish. Pulled chicken is such a versatile dish, you can use it for a barbecue sandwich, chicken tacos, or just as a stand-alone meat dish. If you make more chicken than you can eat, you just place it in individual plastic bags and freeze it to eat later. When you need some chicken for a sandwich, taco, or even a salad, you will just grab a pack out of the freezer and give it a good thaw.

Ingredients For The Pulled Crockpot Chicken Recipe:

For The Chicken:

  • 2.5 pounds of chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt

For The Barbeque Sauce:

  • 1 & 1/4 cups of ketchup
  • 1 & 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of molasses
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2  teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt
